It's always good to take a different viewpoint on your work as you go. For us it's easy- just turn off the Lineart Layer (just poke it in the eye- see?). As you paint, the forms emerge, letting you know if you're on the right track. For the shading on the girl and other warm areas I've sampled her skintone and painted with that.
