I'll cut to chase on this one. I've made a new mask for the puddles and repeated the whole danged paintin' process for the reflections. I played aroud with the Filter options, settling on a simple blur. Filters can be cheesy- be prudent! Once that was done, I painted some straight hightlights on the puddles, which gave them some nice depth. Giddy with filter-fever, I went back to the car and put a slight Gaussian Blur on the Multiply and Screen Layers, effectively softening the harsher brush strokes.
